The Bolton Abbey Wanderers

And I have to say wandering is a skill I pevail in, especially when doing shoots!
Bolton Abbey situated not far from Skipton. It has gothic looking ruins, the River Wharfe running alongside you with numerous dogs both big and small taking a paddle (Yes Meg did nearly get rugby tackled by a really big dog, as he made his way speedily past me to retrieve a stick), the Valley of Desperation (sorry I mean desolation!!!!!)  with big open fields that stretch for miles around (you literally think that it is never going to end, not a flat terrain by any stretch of the imagination), the waterfall that trickles down onto Simons Chair and of course the numerous amount of trees I could pick from to take pictures of. All in all I would say, Bolton Abbey is a beautiful place and a great way to spend an Easter Sunday! Here are some of my favourite shots that I captured today. Any feedback is welcomed, please also share! Thank-You!!!!!!

Slugs, snail and puppy dog tails...

That's what little boys are made of! and to be honest taking pictures of the three mentioned above is alot easier!
With this in mind I have decided that I need to push my photographic skills a little further, as this will help me to improve. This week I did a photo shoot for a friends little boy (and there was not a tree in sight... can you believe it!!!). Shooting people and children is not really a forte of mine, so I have to say I found this shoot quite difficult. Also, the editing process is painfully long and I get bored very easily (and we all know how much I hate editing). However, aside from all of this I am very impressed with how the pictures have turned out. I excepted to get about 3 good pictures whereas I got  13!!! Please have a look at the picture below, any critique positive or negative is gladly accepted. Enjoy:
